Police can only do so much when it comes to controlling the crime. It is the community that has total control over it because they are the main ones involved or creating it. If police and communities can come together and help one another we would see a significant amount of change and a drop in violence. In all I believe both type of policing strategies are important and that we must start taking control of our own actions to contribute to safe community for ourselves and loved ones.
